Meet the Team

Nikki BrownNikki Brown
Position: Development Manager
Nikki is responsible for ensuring the long term sustainability of the charity. Her core work is identifying new development opportunities, maximising income streams, and promoting public use of the forest amenity. She is responsible for securing funding opportunities to support forest activities, Marketing & PR, community engagement, and developing meaningful links with external stakeholders.
Richard InghamRichard Ingham
Position: Administrator
Richard is a familiar face in the area and has occupied several different roles in the community over the years. Richard is primarily responsible for day to day financial management and administrative activities for the charity.
Andy McKenzieAndy McKenzie
Position: Operations Worker
Andy came to work at the Forest as a volunteer. He has since gained the position of Operations Worker and is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager in day to day forest operations. Andy’s key responsibilities are fulfilling sawmill orders and wood fuel production.
Robert BorrusoRobert Borruso
Position: Operations Manager
Robert has been in involved with the project in one form or another since its inception. A CV that contains many ’incarnations’ means that he is suited to the role of keeping a multi faceted operation like KCFC running smoothly.
Sara Mclean Sara Mclean
Position: Community Engagement and Project Support Officer
Sara works with us one day a week to deliver the Low-Carbon Classroom Project. Sara previously worked for KCFC as Forest Access Coordinator and Carbon Savings Project Officer.
Mick EyresMick Eyres
Position: Forest Access Coordinator
Mick Eyre works with volunteers to carry out a host of activities here at the forest, creating opportunities for education and training as well as developing a range of recreational facilities. Mick has a wealth of experience in the voluntary sector, working on a number of community-development projects with different groups over the years. He’s also a long-term volunteer for the RSPB.
