The Board 
The Kilfinan Community Forest Company are made up of a full Board of volunteers from all corners of the Kilfinan Parish. The majority have been involved in the project from the beginning in 2005, and are nominated and voted in by its members. The organisation is a fully registered Scottish Charity.

Peter BlackPeter Black
Position: Director
Peter Black is a local man born and bred who has been a member of the KCFC for the last 2 years. Peter runs a local gardening business employing local people and lives in Otter Ferry.

Rob BlairRob Blair
Position: Director
Rob Blair has been a member of the steering group from the beginning. He helps manage local woodlands, and works on the Caladh estate. He lives with his family in Tighnabruaich.

Andrew Graham-WeallAndrew Graham-Weall
Position: Vice Chair
Andrew runs Tighnabruaich Gallery and is a new enthusiastic member of the Board. Andrew was also recently voted onto the board at Kilfinan Community Council.

Ian HoltIan Holt
Position: Director
Ian Holt has been involved in the project from the beginning in 2005. Ian is a self employed LANTRA registered chainsaw trainer, mobile sawmiller and forestry worker who lives at Otter Ferry.

Vanessa BarlowVanessa Barlow
Position: Director
Vanessa Barlow is an active member in the Kilfinan Community and enjoys being involved in community projects. She lives with Ian Holt and her dogs in Otter Ferry.

David BlairDavid Blair
Position: Vice Chair
David is a woodsman and has been involved in the project from the start. He is passionate about sustainable living and the Transition movement. David also runs the Community Composting facility in Tighnabruaich. David lives at Dunbeag with his girlfriend, Michaela.

Michaela HunterMichaela Hunter
Position: Secretary
Michaela lives in Tighnabruaich and is involved in outdoor education and providing Forest School experiences. She enjoys volunteering for community groups and occasionally works in the Abbeyfield Shop. She lives in Tighnabruaich with David Blair and her dogs.

Position: Director
Stuart Jack lives in Kames with his family. He has been on the board for 4 years now and previously volunteered as Chair of Kilfinan Community Council for 4 years. He is still involved in local community work.

Position: Treasurer
Penny was recently co-opted at the last AGM to fulfil the role of Treasurer for the Charity. Penny is very supportive of community action initiatives to revitalise the area.
