A New Community Composting Facility The new Community Composting facility is open for business. The facility is open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from 12-4pm. It is a state-of-the art facility constructed with timber from the forest, providing a drop-off area, turning point, hot-boxes and maturation area. Our compost officer, Craig Blair, will be on hand during opening hours to help people unload their garden waste and answer any questions about composting and the facility.
