A New Community Composting Facility
This is currently under development by The Growing Green Project Team and will include a workshop, vehicle/tractor maintenance area and storage space. The new machinery shed has been clad in timber and fitted out with bays that are currently storing wood fuel. We are also investigating the purchase of a shredder / mulcher and a fuel tank for onsite vehicles.
Composting Champions
Later this year KCFC will be recruiting two volunteers to become Composting Champions - training them up to help deliver composting advice and strategies to the wider community.
