Our community is highly dependent on fossil fuels to warm our homes. Last winter, more people than ever became "fuel poor" - spending more than 10% of their income on energy to heat and light their homes. Woodfuel is a zero carbon fuel and its right on our doorstep! If you already use woodfuel, or would be interested in converting to woodfuel before the coming winter cold, please get in touch with us, we may be able to help.
Local employment will be available for processing this for community use. Volunteer wooding days are also planned to help us get fit, get logs and make friends while we work.
