We have now recruited Sara Maclean from Colintraive to lead our Carbon Savings Project. We have undertaken to install 16 community allotments, 4 polytunnels, a new composting facility and a full programme to promote local food growing in the district. We have also submitted plans to create safe and easy access into the forest for all of us to explore, play and learn!
Sara will help encourage the uptake of free personal home energy audits to reduce our fuel bills and help us to contribute towards the Scottish Governments carbon reduction targets.
